In fact I’d say their shorts might be the most consistently excellent product they put out. But when movies hit a certain level of quality Ghost House – is a must-have. I’ve seen the three Twilights and a few of the Harry Potters and they’ll all been fantastic. Get an ad-free experience with special benefits, and directly support Reddit. In fact I’d say their shorts might be the most consistently excellent product they put out. Appreciate your thoughtful take on this, looks like Pit of Horror is one I’ll be skipping. And it only gets better if you’re a big LotR nerd, like I am. Ghost House – is a must-have. The movie just doesn’t give them much to work with. Frankly I don’t think this is much the fault of Rifftrax, though.
Not “total mind-blowing screaming abortions of sanity-robbing hell on film” but just “not good,” it’s probably almost impossible to write for.
Or did you forget your “Line?. Ghost House – is a must-have. Laser Mission, Crater Lake Monster, Curse of Big Foot – all pretty solid, and I don’t think you’ll regret getting them, but not the must-have material. Not even poor enough to be blodoy. I did not really care for Warriors of the Wasteland. Appreciate your thoughtful take on this, looks like Pit of Horror is one I’ll be skipping. It’s a pretty terrible film, full of extended torture scenes of bpoody helpless women. Come talk about anything and everything RiffTrax. Clearly the director was enjoying himself a bit too much during parts of this flick.
They did a really good job with the prequels but those movies are awful so it’s kinda hard to watch them. Basically if you’ve got the DVD then it’s worth buying the commentary. Want to add to the discussion? Welcome to Reddit, the front page of the internet.
New RiffTrax VOD, Bloody Pit of Horror : Rifftrax
There are highlights, however: In fact I’d say their shorts might be the most consistently excellent product they put out. Did you see a RiffTrax that you think others absolutely must watch? I don’t think Bloody Pit of Horror is their worst collection of riffs, but I’m having a hard time thinking of one that is. And that’s the problem with working with really bad movies, I think.
Og going to say Ghost House again, just to reiterate it’s importance. The movie just doesn’t give them much to work with.
It used to be possible to sort by downloads or popularity or something but I can’t seem ppit find that bit any more? And I really enjoyed the Magic Christmas Tree Christmas special because of the way they link all the shorts together so that they start referencing each other in the jokes.
The riffing is frankly rather average. Before the torture scenes kick in there’s some very good riffs, so the first half or so of the movie has some definite high moments.
Did you wake up with an epiphany on how to make RiffTrax even better? Did you just watch a RiffTrax that needs to be riffed itself? However, it should be noted that bbloody was one of my fav’ cheesy movies as a kid so it will always have a special place in my heart.
That’s where I think Bloody Pit of Horror is at. And while this Rifftrax VOD isn’t bad, it’s just not up to their usual standards, which makes it pretty average, I guess. They’ve also done the original Star Wars trilogy which is excellent. It’s so incredibly riffhrax and disorienting and oddball that you start to wonder how it ever even got made.
Those scenes would’ve been brutal if it wasn’t for the laughably bad special effects and the stark absence of emotion from the actresses. But then the last half takes a turn for the worse. I’d welcome some recommendations! Oh, the Lord of the Rings trilogy is an easy answer. Out of curiosity what are a handful you might suggest? Not a waste of money, but not a must-have, either. It’s like this movie has exactly enough talent and execution to be completely and utterly bland.
Really, every one of the MP3 commentaries is worth trying, especially at their price point. I’ve seen the three Twilights and a few of the Harry Potters and they’ll all been fantastic.
The characters are two-dimensional and the acting is so horrifyingly average that it’s not even bad enough to b,oody fun of. I only own extended editions of LOTR — I’m guessing the riff rifftrac is made for the theatrical releases, no? Also their live performances are always worth the money.
Thanks for the response. But when movies hit a certain level of quality The shorts blooxy sounds like my next purchase. And it only gets better if you’re a big LotR nerd, like I am. Let me preface this by saying that I thought about writing a really positive review of this movie because I love Rifftrax and I’m even willing to exaggerate a little just in hopes borror they get some more sales, but The Hands of Fate in that respect. In fact, once the torture implements come out, you could probably just turn the thing off.

Submit a new link. Probably one of their best. Frankly I don’t think this is much the fault of Rifftrax, though.
